Yesterday,
the Former Boyfriend and I enjoyed a bit of “normal” by going out on a date
night. We are members of The Columbus
All Breed Training Club and last night was the annual awards banquet (and no
our little darlings did not win any awards) so we joined our Club friends for a
festive evening.
The Club’s
been in existence for 60 years. J and I
have been members for 2 years, but a good portion of the folks at the banquet
have been members for 30+ years. Two attendees had been members for 50+ years
with one of the trainers, Nic--- winning the night at 53 years of membership. It was a good evening and much needed.
