Oxygen saturated

Greetings and welcome to the weekend!  Now that his tissues are "oxygen saturated", Johnny continues his hyperbaric oxygen therapy two to three times per week in Dublin. The hyperbaric oxygen therapy involves breathing 100 percent oxygen at an elevated barometric pressure, saturating the tumors with oxygen. Johnny “dive” is two and a half atmospheres which is about 50 feet. As in fifty feet deep.  The treatments last about an hour and a half.
In the chamber, better not be claustrophobic

When administered properly, the combination of a ketogenic diet and hyperbaric oxygen therapy  protect healthy tissues while simultaneously damaging cancer cells, according to the research by Dom D'Agostino. D’Agostino has found that while both therapies slowed disease progression independently, animals receiving the combined ketogenic diet and hyperbaric oxygen therapy lived 78 percent longer than animals fed a standard high-carbohydrate diet and oxygen therapy.  So this is the road we’ve chosen, all prayers happily accepted. Johnny's energy skyrocketed this week, the "off" week in his chemo therapy. Monday, another treatment looms.

Johnny also did an hCG test.  His baseline result was 52.2.  We need to get it closer to 49.  But for now it’s a lot lower that either one of us expected.  We’ll recheck it when he’s done with chemo.

As for me I’m well and don’t have any doctor appointments for awhile.  So we’re looking forward to seeing 5, yes count them 5 Buckeyes in the Super Bowl!  We don’t really care who wins…we just want the Bucks to look good.
