Frustration means learn to move on

Well we’re starting over.  The lab never received my April specimen for the HCG test so after over a month of waiting for results we’ve started the entire process over.  I will still need to wait 2 – 3 weeks to get my results from this latest sample.  We’re frustrated, but moving forward.  There are many tests ahead and they can always come out one way or another.  Waiting makes it harder.  I have to admit there are times I wish this would just all go away.  That we’ll wake up and this was all just a bad dream.

But we’re soldiering on and in June I’m scheduled for appointments with my Ophthalmologist, and my Integrative Specialist, Dr. Kanodia.  Then we will be traveling to the Proton Center in Chicago for my one year follow up with the Oncology Radiologist Dr. Chang.  Once we return I will be following up with my Surgeon, Dr. Slam.  As I write this I’m starting to see why I never seem to have any time to get things done around the house.  But we do make time for some fun.  Here’s a photo of Thursday evening’s class at The Columbus All Breed Training Club.  Johnny and Rose are learning to search vehicles.

Rose is actually happier than she looks in this shot
And on a very personal note, it was twenty years ago this week that we said goodbye to Louise.  I can’t believe she’s been gone so long.
