All I can
say is that the last two days have been friggin’ cold. It’s just an added dimension to Johnny having
a round of chemo this week. We’ve been hunkering down by the fireplace getting
in some reading. The poison takes its toll, but now that it’s the weekend he’s
starting to get his appetite and energy back.
So tonight we’ll go to Mark and Kimberly’s home for their annual
Christmas party. We missed the party
last year due to Johnny’s surgery so we’re really looking forward to seeing
several friends and eating some great food.
And it’s
time for our chemo holiday! For the rest
of the month Johnny will be chemo free.
We have grand visions of Johnny feeling completely normal, back to his
old self during this break. We’ve
scheduled projects around the house and we’re looking forward to some holiday get-togethers.
