This week started at the Stratford Ecological Center. Johnny and I have been going there and
donating for years. Stratford is a
non-profit, organic farm and nature preserve on 236 acres in Delaware. We had the opportunity to wander through the
greenhouse and the barn. We watched the
sheep loose there winter coats, saw 30 some baby goats and lambs, and we saw a
border collie/duck herding demonstration.
The food was fresh off the farm and delicious as usual. The core mission of Stratford is: 1) teach
children where their food and fiber come from 2) reconnect children to the
awesome wonders of the natural world. If
you’re in the area, check them out. They
do a great job on a very tight budget.
On the health front, we’re continuing with the Myers cocktail
IV infusions. The basic compound is: Magnesium chloride hexahydrate 20% (magnesium)
Calcium gluconate 10% (calcium) Hydroxocobalamin 1,000 mcg/mL (B12) Pyridoxine
hydrochloride 100 mg/mL (B6) Dexpanthenol 250 mg/mL (B5) B complex 100 (B
complex) Vitamin C 222 mg/mL (C) and S-Acetyl Glutathione 200 mg
.
But Cathy tailors
each infusion to each patient’s individual needs. We are both feeling better, we’re expecting
excellent results in the blood tests we have coming up.
Finally, today we said a sad goodbye to the beautiful blue
spruce that has graced our back yard as long as we have lived in this
home. Time and mites have taken their
toll. That’s it for this week other than
“Happy Mother’s Day” to all!
