This week started off with the high school graduation of our
Goddaughter Deanna. Her Mother home-schooled
her, but also had her participating in home-school programs with other
kids. In all 10 home-schooled kids
graduated on Saturday and the ceremony was the nicest graduation I have ever
attended. Deanna is off to dance studios
in Pittsburgh and NYC.
The weather has been fairly decent, allowing us to get most of our flowers and garden planted. On Wednesday, even though the starting pitching has
been inconsistent and the bats cold at times, Johnny and his buddy Matt headed
to Cleveland for an afternoon watching the Tribe.Sure enough the starter lasted less than three innings. And many runners were left stranded in scoring position. But they had beautiful weather and a great time just the same. Any day at the ballpark is always better than a day at work.
We’re enjoying the last of our break. Next week starts chemo and scans for Johnny
and a scan and Oncology appointment for me.
And finally, please keep my brother Paul in your prayers he’s
had a demoralizing set-back.
