This was another
week of doctor appointments. On Monday I
saw Dr. Kanodia, my Integrative Specialist.
He’s a purveyor of hope rather than despair. And with true compassion. I’m so sorry more cancer patients don’t have
access to the type of medical care he offers.
So far he’s pleased with what he is seeing. He changed my supplements up a bit and I’ll
have another blood test on November 11th.
Today I had
more scar tissue release. The good news
is that the more scar tissue Dr. Merritt can release the more feeling I get
back. The bad news is that every time I
go back for another treatment it hurts a lot more. I just keep reminding myself of how good my
chest and shoulder feel once the bruising is over.
Anyway,
changing gears here…next up is the photo challenge. Thanks to those of you who are playing
along. I’m determined to get back to or hopefully
better than my pre-cancer shape. My
workouts are a lot tougher than they have been and I’m doing a weekly photo
diary for the next year to keep track of my progress. I don’t think I’ll be posting those photos
here though.
