For the most
part this was a blissfully normal week filled with work and the normal day to
day stuff. We did enjoy a wonderful
Valentine’s Day dinner with our friends Jim and Mariann.
We've been making it
back to the Central Ohio All Breed Training club which felt so good to all of us. We missed an entire year of taking
Tillie and Rose there.There was
one heartbreak this week. A very special
patient at the Hospital died. I will
miss seeing Luc’s family, his Mother Janice is one of the strongest, most
beautiful people I have ever met.
Luc Phillip Seagro, 19, of Cambridge, passed away on Wednesday
(Feb. 15, 2017) at Children's Hospital in Columbus. He was born in West Virginia on May 4, 1997. Luc was a 2016
graduate of Cambridge High
School. He was a member of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church.
Remember, no matter how tough your day, someone else's is tougher. That said the three week layoff is almost over, The former boyfriend heading back to chemo next week. But he knows someone will be having a much worse day. And they'll scan him first. So pray for good news in next weeks post.
