We started this week at the Zangmeister Center for another chemo treatment. Things went smoother than they have for a very long time, and we are grateful. Nausea continues to be a dreaded side effect after every treatment, but overall Johnny’s doing great. His CEA count remains low which is good and he is scheduled for CT scans prior to his next chemo treatment.
And… the heartbreak continues…Johnny was in mourning Thursday as he tried to
come to grips with seeing his beloved Tribe squander a World Series
championship that seemed inevitable just a few days before. But just like all true Cleveland fans, he’ll
be there cheering them on again in the spring. Right now we’re enjoying the last days of the garden
(hard to believe I’m saying that in November), putting the RV away for the
winter and looking forward to a trip to Yellow Springs on Sunday. Have a great weekend and keep sending those
prayers our way.
