There’s no cancer news this week. The most important
numbers of Johnny’s blood test have not been posted in his medical chart.
We’ll see the Oncologist at the Zangmeister Center next week and find out why
information is not being posted, and how Johnny is doing.
Next up, Gina’s daughter Tiffany is in the Czech Republic on
a missionary trip this summer. She attends Moody Bible College in Chicago
and will be writing about her adventures at: tiffanyshort.blogspot.com.
And finally, this week will be one of beginnings and
endings. We’re looking forward to every moment we get to spend with
family and friends at Michael and Rachael’s wedding. The food is promised
to be excellent and we may even take a few liberties with our ketogenic
diet. One of the great things about weddings is that you don’t know at
least half of the people there. What a great chance to meet people we
would never talk to under any other circumstance. And who knows – There
will never be another moment to share this experience with these people so I
hope we make some new friends along the way.
And speaking of friendships-we lost a dear friend this
week. Writer/Farmer Gene Logsdon passed away at his home on May 31st.
Gene loved to laugh a big hardy laugh and found humor everywhere. Johnny
and I along with so many others will miss him. God bless you, Gene.
