Greetings to
everyone today on this beautiful photo Friday!
I spent
today getting my 6 month full body thermography scan. The initial scan looked good and I’ll get the
final report next week. I’ve had them
before but the general idea is that thermography measures subtle temperature
changes in the skin and underlying structures.
While mammography can detect cancers early (if the radiologist is paying
attention) a thermography scan can detect physiological changes associated with
cancer and other diseases while it is still at a cellular level – well before
it becomes visible on a mammogram.
A
thermography scan can also detect lymphatic congestion another precursor to
disease. And the effects of diet are
very visible on the scans. The better
you eat, the less inflammation you have – all there in pretty colors do get
your attention. At least is has definitely
gotten my attention.
But thermography
is not a standalone test. It’s just
another piece to the puzzle, along with HCG testing and constant monitoring by
my doctors. If anyone is thinking about getting a scan one of the first
questions to ask is how many images the technician take. Ohio Infrared takes anywhere from 60 – 100. There are places that only take 15 images-
like everything else, buyer beware.
We hope you all have a great weekend. Prayers to those in the way of hurricane Patricia.
