Sometimes mundane is a good thing
Sometimes when you're a cancer patient just a very routine week is incredibly welcome. And for the ex boyfriend, that's exactly what the past week has been. Coming off positive scan results, shaking off a chemo treatment and feeling good again. You take all the good you can. Time has been spent making plans for the fall, roasting tomatoes into sauce and just keeping up with the daily chores. When you feel good you just appreciate those things all the more. But oh crap, the coming week means another round of chemo is in the offing. We appreciate all your thoughts and prayers.

We'll take reports like this any time
This week
Johnny had another scan and for the first time we actually viewed the scan and
spoke with the Radiologist. And while
the tumors are still there they are all smaller! Johnny also had an area on his left adrenal
gland that in his first scans looked “suspicious”. This area is no longer a concern and both the
Oncologist and Radiologist believe that what they saw is just a fibrous
area. Johnny will have follow up scans
sometime around Christmas.
So we will
continue to stay on track with diet, exercise, supplements, meditation and the
hardest one of all – stress reduction!
At this point none of these are optional if we both hope to keep our
cancer in check. One of the things we
really look forward to is our daily walks with the dogs. It’s just such a great way to exercise, connect
with Tillie and Rose, each other, and our neighbors.
We just want
to thank everyone again from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support. To everyone who reads this blog, sends us
encouragement – To everyone who prays, chants or sends healing vibes our way –
It’s working. We can’t do this
alone. Thank you.
Much love
and deep gratitude – Jeannie & Johnny
